Green Building

A green building is a sustainable one. This means that it is optimized to use different resources efficiently. Such resources include energy, water, and building materials.

Another aspect of green building is that it reduces the negative impacts of the architecture. These negative impacts may occur on human or animal health, on the environment, and at any point of the building's life cycle. Stages such as design, siting, construction, operation, maintenance and removal will all take into account the more eco-friendly options.

It may be helpful to understand the more specific  methods through which green building reduce environmental impact. These include the reduction of waste, pollution, and environmental degradation during construction and use, as well as the gathering of materials. When the building is operating, water and energy will be used efficiently. It will also require less resources for optimum heating and shading. Finally, it will also protect the health of occupants and the productivity of any employees involved within it.
